What are cookies?
Cookies are small files which are downloaded to and stored on your device in a form usable by your browser when you visit a website. Cookies are widely used by website owners to provide you with a good experience while you browse, and also to provide information which can help website owners to improve websites.
There are 2 types of cookies:-
Persistent Cookies, which remain on your device until a date set by the website from which they were downloaded, or until deleted by you using the controls provided in your browser.
Session Cookies, which are deleted when you end your browsing session (close your browser). Note that if you have your browser set to 'Continue where you left off' then session cookies are not deleted when the browser is closed.
Cookies Used by Our Sites
Cookies used by our sites have 2 sources; those placed by us, and those placed on our behalf by Google Analytics.
Those set by us are used to control the display of the cookie acceptance notice (it is only displayed once until closed), to set the language and currency used in our shop, and to keep track of a shopping session.
Those set by Google Analytics are used to anonymously monitor traffic on our website. An example is counting the number of different people coming to our website or using a particular feature, rather than the total number of times the site or feature is used. Without this cookie, if you visited the website once each week for three weeks we would count you as three separate users. We would find it difficult to analyse how well our website was performing and improve it without these cookies.
None of the cookies used on our website collect personalised information or are used to target advertising either by us or by third parties.
Most of the cookies set by our sites are persistent cookies.
If you click on the Google location map to enlarge it you leave our domain and Google may set cookies. You can use the map in the embedded window without cookies being set.

We may update this policy from time to time so you may want to check it each time you visit our website. This policy is effective from 25 May 2018.
